Luxe Twin Cities day spa: So close yet so far away.
Fusion LifeSpa
The name says it all. At Fusion, some of the world's most treasured (and trusted) body treatments converge. Start as simply as you want—maybe with a Tui-na (twee-naw) traditional Chinese medical massage, which combines acupressure and body movements to bring relaxation or treat soreness or injury. Or you can get all adventurous and try one of the spa's integrative-medicine treatments: colonic therapy, organ detox and more. Too much? Just stick with the indulgent side of spa life with the Red Flower Hamman Ritual–Morocco. It's a five-step purifying body treatment that's said to induce "euphoric sedation". You start with a steam-room cleanse or a rain shower of Moroccan mint tea and silt. Then comes the body polish—made with coffee, olive stones and fresh lemons—followed by a rhassoul clay wrap and orange blossom hydrating mist. You'll spend the next 60 minutes getting a Turkish massage with cardamom, jasmine, bergamot, amber and clove essential oils. Don't worry, you'll have plenty of time to reflect on how good you have it during a private neroli cypress bath soak.
